Artist Bio
Jillianne Renee Overman has been an artist ever since she could pick up a pencil and draw her favorite cartoon. Influenced by her mother's talent for oil painting and wall murals, Jillianne began to draw and paint. She later attended the University of Illinois Chicago to study Art Education, however she discovered Photography and fell in love. Earning a Bachelor of Arts in Photography with honors, has given her cutting edge knowledge and experience in this ever changing digital age.
After college she began work with her family business Amazing Walls, Inc. while building her photography business, specializing in Weddings and Portraiture. For six years Jillianne served as Creative Director/Muralist for Amazing Walls, Inc. A full service painting company that was founded by Joe and Deborah Rogers (Jillianne's mother and step-father) in 1996.
Working professionally for the last 18 years, Jillianne Renee has become an accomplished Commercial and Residential Muralist, Decorative Painter, and Photographer servicing the Chicagoland area.
In 2014, Jillianne launched Rose 'n' Vine In-home & On Location Paint & Sip Parties. In February 2018 Jillianne opened Happy Daisy Art Studio in charming Downtown Morris, IL. After a successful year doing Public and Private Paint Parties the opportunity arose to move two doors down to 202 Liberty St, a larger space on the corner of Washington & Liberty! Private home parties can still be scheduled as long as you're within an hour radius from Morris, IL. In the Future Happy Daisy Art Studio will also be a full service boutique showcasing some local Makers, Hand-crafted Wood Signs, Jewelry, Hand bags, Journals, Notebooks, Hand-painted Pillows, Wine Glasses, Canvas Art, a Terrarium Bar, and more!
